Gun Dog Escape

Sparkling Rosé Reserve.

Our Gun Dog Escape Rosé is made from 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier. The grapes are all hand picked, it's a real labour of love, we use no herbicides or pesticides in the vineyard which we believe is extremely important. A huge amount of time goes into keeping the vineyard healthy and beautiful all year round, the reward at the end of the year is well worth it. The wine is fermented in both stainless steel tanks and oak barrels before being aged for 2.5 years.

The Story

Each bottle has a story.

Each of our labels has a unique story behind it. We have 3 vineyard dogs here on the Estate, Max, Indie and Saffy. They love nothing more than vanishing into thin air when working in the vineyard, heading out on their own adventures, flushing out pheasants and rabbits or stealing a few apples from the orchard so this label is in honour of their infamous adventures.

Flavour profile

Simply delicious.

Our philosophy on the wine has always been the same. We very much operate on the basis of if you like it, then that's all that matters.

11.5% ABV - Our Rosé is a beautifully delicate pale colour.

On the nose: Summer fruits and fresh fruity berries.

One the palate: Hints of vanilla with the fresh floral fruit notes coming through, it's delicious if we do say so ourselves.

Each Bottle has a story

Never underestimate the amount of hours that go into making just a single bottle of wine... watch the video below.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

“We had an amazing day on the Wine Safari and it was unlike any vineyard tour I have done before. We loved visiting all the different parts of the vineyard and sampling drinks hidden along the way. Lunch with a view was fantastic even despite the weather! Ben and all the family were really friendly and informative. We have already recommended to friends and family and look forward to coming back ourselves!”
